Escaño—a visionary professional whose leadership is grounded in integrity, stewardship, and a deep reverence for purpose-driven service. With a strong foundation in assurance and audit, tax, regulatory compliance, and accounting, he has shaped the firm not just as a service provider but as a trusted partner in excellence.

With nearly two decades of experience in accounting, finance, audit, and compliance, he stands as a pillar of trusted leadership in the Philippine and international business landscape.

Professional Journey

CP’s career is marked by progressive leadership across renowned organizations and global markets. As Senior Financial Accounting Manager at one of the Philippines’ top pharmaceutical companies, he directed core financial functions including OTC, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Taxation—establishing compliant financial systems and coordinating with Big 4 firms and regulatory bodies such as SEC, BIR, and BOC.

His tenure as Audit & Assurance Director in a Big 4 firm saw him leading audits for prominent listed entities and acting as an Engagement Quality Control Reviewer. He also served as Learning Champion, advocating continuous development, and Internal Control Leaders' Network Deputy, promoting sound governance practices.

Internationally, CP expanded his expertise through a secondment to Deloitte USA in Nashville, performing PCAOB-compliant integrated audits, and serving as Audit Assistant Manager in Deloitte Brunei, overseeing special engagements and regional collaboration with Deloitte Singapore.

Earlier, he honed his financial acumen at Honda Cars Makati, Inc. (Ayala Group) as a Business Unit Accountant—laying a strong foundation for his multidisciplinary capabilities.

CP’s expertise spans pharmaceuticals, BPOs, real estate, insurance, manufacturing, financial services, and more. His proficiency includes:

• Integrated and non-integrated audits under ISA, AICPA, and PCAOB
• Tax and regulatory compliance
• Fraud investigations—including a $2M case resolved with Brunei’s Commercial Crime Investigation Division
• Review engagements and agreed-upon procedures

He is adept with leading platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Xero, and QuickBooks, integrating technology to enhance operational efficiency.
