The orientation will be held over three days to cover the firm’s guidelines, key business concepts, organizational dynamics, audit approach, business registration, tax filing, accounting, and more.

On August 22, 2025, Mr. Christian Paulo C. Escaño, Managing Partner of C. P. C. Escaño & Co., proudly represented the firm at the Business Continuity Planning Workshop hosted by SM Prime and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at SM Megamall. The event convened MSME leaders, owners, consultants, and government stakeholders to promote enterprise resilience through practical continuity strategies tailored to the Philippine business landscape.

Facilitated by Mr. Dennis Orlina, the workshop featured dynamic sessions on risk assessment, recovery planning, and documentation integrity. Drawing from his extensive expertise in risk management, business impact analysis, and organizational resilience, Mr. Orlina delivered actionable insights that empowered participants to fortify their continuity frameworks and prepare for operational disruptions.

This engagement reinforces C. P. C. Escaño & Co.’s commitment to advancing governance and risk-management solutions for MSMEs. Inspired by the workshop, the firm will continue to lead with purpose—enhancing internal protocols, investing in staff development, and sharing knowledge to help businesses thrive in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment. 

On July 19, 2025, as the culminating event of PICPA Accountancy Week 2025, the PICPA Southern Metro Manila Chapter (SMMC), in partnership with the Rotaract Club of Kabataang West Rembo, held a heartfelt outreach program on National CSR Day—the Children’s Day Celebration under the Nutrition & Health Early Education Program (NHEEP) at Barangay West Rembo, Taguig City.

Together with other PICPA SMMC representatives, Mr. Christian Paulo C. Escaño, Managing Partner of C. P. C. Escaño & Co., personally attended the celebration. Their presence reinforced the chapter’s commitment to community-building initiatives that go beyond the profession—anchored in stewardship, service, and genuine care.

The event was filled with joy and engagement as children participated in interactive storytelling, educational games, and gift-giving activities that promoted the foundational values of health awareness and early education. Volunteers and organizers created a welcoming environment where learning and laughter flourished. 

In celebration of PICPA Accountancy Week 2025, the PICPA Southern Metro Manila Chapter (SMMC) in partnership with EY GDS and Mr. Floyd Paguio, organized a meaningful forum titled Dialogue with CPALE Reviewees on July 16, 2025, at the PRIA Review Center. The event served as a vital bridge between academic preparation and professional practice, offering aspiring Certified Public Accountants valuable guidance, insight, and inspiration.

Among the chapter’s distinguished attendees was Mr. Christian Paulo C. Escaño, Managing Partner of C. P. C. Escaño & Co., whose presence reflected an enduring commitment to mentorship and the development of future accounting professionals. By engaging directly with CPALE candidates, this event helped reinforce a culture of excellence and purpose-led leadership within the profession.

The dialogue offered a platform for open discussion, practical advice, and real-world perspectives—giving reviewees access to industry practitioners who have walked the path they now aspire to follow. Topics explored included career readiness, current and future challenges, and the evolving role of CPAs in a dynamic business landscape.

Through initiatives like this, PICPA SMMC advances its mission to cultivate a supportive ecosystem where education and professional practice converge—empowering the next generation of CPAs to lead with integrity, competence, and impact. 

On July 12, 2025, Mr. Christian Paulo C. Escaño—Managing Partner of C. P. C. Escaño & Co.—joined fellow professionals and business leaders for the final installment of the Power Up Your Success seminar series hosted by Cathedral of Praise (COP). Held at COP’s Main Campus, this closing session rounded off a three-day initiative conducted on July 9, 10, and 12, aimed at equipping participants with transformative insights in leadership, entrepreneurship, and economic strategy.

Among the key speakers was esteemed Business Development Expert Mr. Markus Grieger, who delivered a compelling session on vision-oriented leadership, strategic positioning, and the role of principled stewardship in business. Mr. Escaño found particular alignment with Grieger’s emphasis on purpose-led value creation—an approach vital for navigating volatility and building resilient organizations.

The seminar also featured an in-depth economic briefing led by Dr. Carolina Escranda, a distinguished economist known for her expertise in regional and global markets. Her presentation included data-rich updates on core economies such as the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and select international hubs. Attendees, including Mr. Escaño, gained actionable insights into macroeconomic trends, inflation trajectories, and growth forecasts—alongside practical counsel on upskilling amid AI-driven shifts and cultivating prudent financial habits to remain debt-free.

This seminar series reaffirmed COP’s mission to foster leadership development, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial excellence, all offered at no cost to the public. It drew a diverse audience—ranging from seasoned professionals to emerging entrepreneurs—united in their pursuit of purposeful advancement.

On July 10, 2025, Mr. Christian Paulo C. Escaño—Managing Partner of C. P. C. Escaño & Co. and delegate of the PICPA Southern Metro Manila Chapter—offered his professional insights at the PICPA booth during Quezon City MSME Week. His participation exemplified PICPA-SMMC’s steadfast commitment to empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises through strategic, accessible, and values-centered guidance.

Together with fellow PICPA representatives from various Metro Manila chapters, Mr. Escaño provided complimentary consultations to SME owners—delivering not only expert technical advice but also principled support grounded in stewardship and purpose. Their collaborative efforts helped equip entrepreneurs with the clarity and confidence to navigate their growth journeys.

Held from July 7 to 12 at Araneta City, Quezon City MSME Week 2025 is a flagship initiative of the Quezon City Government. With the theme “From Startups to Scaleups,” the six-day event showcases seminars, training sessions, and networking opportunities tailored to accelerate the development of future market leaders.
